SoCal Derby accepts graduates of roller derby "boot camp" programs and transfer skaters from other roller derby leagues.

If you're looking to start from scratch, our partner program, San Diego Derby United, hosts a roller derby training program called The Bonfires at Ringer's Roller Rink.

The current practice schedule for all derby teams that skate at Ringer's is also available from the link above.

Visiting San Diego?

Drop us a line at our gmail (or message us via social media) to inquire about our drop-in and extended stay options for visiting skaters.

Local visiting skaters must also email us before dropping in!

All skaters (including visitors) must have valid WFTDI insurance in order to skate with SoCal Derby.

Get Involved

There are plenty of ways to get involved with SoCal Derby other than just playing roller derby! Contact us if you are interested in helping as an Official (on or off skates), a Bout Day Volunteer, or anything else!

We always need plenty of help on game day! We rely on volunteers to announce, film, serve as EMTs, and more each time we hold a bout.
